Lakes Media Christian AC “96.7 Shine-FM” 1370 WSHV/96.7 W244CP South Hill VA flipped to R&B Oldies on Friday, July 3.

Branding just with its translator frequency and call letters, WSHV is promoting itself as “Classic R&B from the 80s, 90s and More” with core artists including Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Alliyah, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, Earth Wind & Fire, and the Commodores.

In a message on the now-former Christian AC website, WSHV states, “Due to increased competition from local listener-supported stations, WSHV is no longer able to generate enough advertising revenue to continue broadcasting the Family-Friendly Positive Hits format.”
