CXR Radio CHR “Power 95.3” WPYO Maitland/Orlando has announced that afternoon host Danie B and evening host Kevin Kon will move to mornings starting Monday, July 27.

“Danie & Kevin Mornings” will succeed “The Wake Up Show with Estee and DJ Nailz”. Estee Martin will focus on her new role as Director of Programming for new Spanish AC “Exitos 96.5” WOEX. The pair each debuted in their now former timeslots in March 2019 with Danie B from 2-5pm, Kevin Kon from 8pm-12am and the duo co-hosting from 5-8pm.

Cox Media Group Orlando today announced that WPYO’s afternoon and evening personalities and social media influencers Danie B and Kevin Kon are teaming up and moving to mornings on Power 95.3, effective July 27, 2020. The show, Danie & Kevin Mornings on Power 95.3, will broadcast weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Danie B and Kevin Kon have been championing afternoons and evenings as host of WPYO’s afternoon and evening shows respectively since March 2019. “I have been watching their chemistry for years and they truly are the best of friends and have the kind of relationship with each other–and our listeners–that make those deep memorable, emotional connections. Moving them to mornings felt like such a natural fit as they will definitely take over Central Florida,” said WPYO Brand Manager Will Calder.
