Federated Media Sports “ESPN Fort Wayne” 1380 WKJG/100.9 W265CY Fort Wayne IN dropped its ESPN Radio in favor of Fox Sports Radio last week and has rebranded as “1380 The Fan“.
The station will carry the majority of the Fox Sports Radio national lineup including Clay Travis from 6-9am and Dan Patrick from 9am-12pm. After the first two hours of Colin Cowherd from 12-2pm, WKJG will run a delayed airing of Westwood One’s Pat McAfee Show from 2-4pm and the locally originating Sports Rush With Brett Rump from 4-6pm.
WKJG also will continue to carry Fort Wayne Tin Caps baseball, Indiana Pacers basketball, Purdue football and basketball, Purdue-Fort Wayne basketball, and Notre Dame basketball. It also will become the new Fort Wayne affiliate for Indianapolis Colts football this year.
Fox Sports Radio was previously heard in Fort Wayne on Adams Radio Group’s “1250 The Ticket” WGL until the station ceased operations at the end of March and was subsequently sold. A new format launch on that signal is imminent.
