Cumulus Media Classic Rock “99.9 The Hawk” WODE Easton/Allentown PA has has announced the appointments of Sal Palazzolo as Program Director and Glenn ‘Mitch’ Mitchell as afternoon host.
The pair fill the opening created by Bill Sheridan’s departure last month after 21 years programming the station. Palazzolo previously programmed Alternative “107.1 Spin Radio” WWYY Belvidere NJ prior to Cumulus acquiring it along with WODE and flipping it to a simulcast of Country “Cat Country 96” WCTO last October. He has been serving as Assistant Chief Engineer for the Cumulus Allentown cluster since.
Longtime station veteran Glenn ‘Mitch’ Mitchell moves from weekends to afternoons. Mitchell has been a part-time host at the station since 2002.
CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it has appointed Sal Palazzolo as Program Director at Classic Rock station, WODE-FM/99.9 The Hawk, in Allentown, PA. Palazzolo was previously Program Director of sister Alternative station, WWYY-FM, before that became a simulcast of Country station WCTO-FM. In addition, Glenn “Mitch” Mitchell has been named Afternoon Drive Host for WODE-FM. Mitch has been a WODE weekend jock for many years.
