On a company-wide conference call today, Entercom CEO David Field began revealing details on how programming will be handled at its Alternative and Country stations following yesterday’s cutbacks and restructuring..

Current “New York’s Country 94.7” WNSH midday host Katie Neal will host in that daypart across all of the Entercom Country stations. A different performer will co-host for one hour each day as a “Superstar Power Hour” starting on Monday with Luke Bryan. Nights across all the Country stations will be hosted by the current 99.5 WYCD Detroit afternoon team of Rob Stone and Holly Hutton.

Each of the Country stations will continue to have local morning shows and local or regional afternoon shows.

At Alternative, the company will be regionalizing a number of morning shows including 106.7 KROQ Los Angeles’ Stryker & Klein to air in Dallas, Kansas City and San Francisco and “Alt 92.3” WNYL New York’s new Cane & Corey adding Baltimore, Buffalo, Miami and Orlando. WNYL’s Kevan Kenney will anchor nights across all of Entercom’s Alternative stations. Every station within the format will also adopt the “2 Minute Promise” limiting ad breaks to that length that originated on KNDD Seattle and later added at WNYL New York and a few other stations.
