After just over four months as Hot AC “92.1 The Bridge“, Townsquare Media has once again flipped 92.1 KTSR De Quincy/Lake Charles LA.
KTSR flipped on Friday to Adult R&B as “Magic 92.1” assuming the brand and programming that had been on 1470 KLCL Lake Charles. KLCL went Silent in August after losing power to its transmitter building due to Hurricane Laura. KLCL had already been operating under STA at lower power while needing to make repair to the transmitter building and install a new transmitter.
The new “Magic 92.1” will feature an all-syndicated lineup that includes Rickey Smiley in mornings, Deja Vu in middays, DL Hughley in afternoons and Lenny Green at night. Erik Tee, Brand Manager/afternoon host of Hip Hop “107 Jamz” 107.5 KJMH adds those duties at KTSR.
KTSR had dropped its “Classic Rock 92.1” identity for Hot AC on May 22.
