The restaffing of iHeartMedia CHR “Power 96.1” WWPW Atlanta continues as the station has imported Ethan Cole from nights at “Channel 93.3” KHTS-FM San Diego to host afternoons.
Cole joined KHTS-FM in January 2017 after previously working as a producer for WXKS-FM Boston’s Matty In The Morning and weekend host at Townsquare Media’s “Fun 107” WFHN Fairhaven/New Bedford MA under the name ‘Jagger’. Cole will continue to track nights in San Diego, afternoons at “Hits 96.1” WHQC Charlotte and additional iHeart markets from Atlanta.
The addition of Cole follows the move of MiKeith Teague from KSLZ St. Louis to host nights and pending arrival of Shelby Sos from WZFT Baltimore to serve as morning show producer and midday host. All of the station’s previous local on-air staffers including morning hosts PK and Denise Kalentzis and APD/afternoon host Ryan Maddox exited in early November.
