El Dorado Broadcasters Hot AC “Mix 100.9” KQSR Yuma AZ has announced the addition of Vanessa ‘V’ Gomez as Assistant Program Director and midday host.
Gomez most recently worked at iHeartMedia San Diego and Riverside where she was on-air at Rhythmic CHRs “Jam’n 95.7” KSSX San Diego and 99.1 KGGI Riverside from 2016 to 2020. She had a previous stint at that cluster hosting weekends on CHR “Channel 93.3” KHTS-FM and “95.7 Kiss-FM” KSSX and has also worked at Hip Hop “Blazin’ 98.9” XHMOR Tijuana/San Diego and “Wild 96.1” KWIE Riverside.
El Dorado Broadcasters, owners of market-leading radio stations in Yuma, Arizona, hires V (Vanessa) Gomez as Assistant Program Director/Midday air personality for KQSR-FM, Mix 100.9.
Ms. Gomez began her career in San Diego at XMOR-FM, later at KWIE-FM in Riverside, California and most recently at iHeart in San Diego. Ms. Gomez realized her love for radio at a young age, inspired by listening to local radio station from her hometown of San Diego. She is a graduate of California State University Los Angeles and will now call Yuma home. “I am so excited to join El Dorado Broadcasters and be a part of the Mix 100.9FM team! I can’t wait to meet everyone and to create a daily bond with the Yuma community!”
