Iliad Media Rhythmic CHR “Wild 101” KWYD Parma/Boise ID has added LM San Diego’s “Z90.3” XHTZ Tijuana/San Diego’s “Hey Morton” morning show.
The move marks a homecoming for two-thirds of the show. Both host Rick Morton (2009-2013) and co-host Edina Macic (2010-2015) previously hosted mornings at KWYD before moving to XHTZ. Morton has also worked at KPSI Palm Springs and KFMB-FM and KMYI San Diego in his career. The duo are joined by producer Derrick ‘DJ D Rock’ Marlborough.
The addition of “Hey Morton” follows the move of Nathan Fast from mornings to middays as his co-host/wife Rebecca Fast exited in August. KBFF Portland’s Lo, who had been tracking middays, moved to afternoons following the departure of Program Director/afternoon host JD Garfield at the end of August.
