After three and a half years co-hosting the 9am-12pm show on TEGNA Sports “97.1 The Fan” WBNS-FM Columbus, James Laurinaitis is departing the station at the end of this week to join the football coaching staff at Notre Dame.
Laurinaitis joined WBNS-FM in May 2018 to co-host with Beau Bishop after spending nine years in the NFL as a linebacker with the St. Louis Rams and New Orleans Saints. Laurinaitis played at Ohio State University alongside new Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman, who he calls his best friend.
