Jae Nash has joined SummitMedia Adult R&B “98.7 Kiss” WBHK Warrior/Birmingham AL as Promotions Director and midday host.
Nash most recently served as a weekend/fill-in host at Audacy’s “V103” WVEE Atlanta. She started her career at 103.1 WEUP Huntsville, hosted mornings at R&B Oldies 1470 WVOL Nashville, and was Promotions Director at “Smooth Jazz 101.1” 1310 WJZA Atlanta. Nash was also a castmate on a season of VH1’s “Tough Love Co-Ed”.
Nash succeeds Ebony Arrington Steele in middays, who exited the station at the end of 2021.
SummitMedia, LLC named Jae’ Nash as the new mid-day personality and promotions director for 98.7 Kiss (WBHK-FM).
Nash brings more than a decade of experience in media and entertainment, having served as a radio personality, television host, actress, and reality star. Most recently, she was an on-air personality at WVEE-FM and WJZA-FM in Atlanta. Off the air, she worked as promotions director for WJZA-FM and was the community relations director at The Atlanta Voice.
“We’re excited that Jae is joining 98.7 KISS, for middays from 10a-3pm; her energy and passion will be a welcomed addition to the 98.7 KISS Family.” said Director of Birmingham Programming Maurice DeVoe. “She also brings a fresh perspective to the market and years of experience in marketing and promotions.”
Georgia Trend Magazine named Nash a “40 Under 40” in 2019 for her business and philanthropic efforts. In 2016, she was selected to attend The United State of Women summit in Washington D.C., with former First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Warren Buffett and former President Barack Obama. She also founded Girl Power Outreach, a non-profit which aims to touch and inspire young girls around the world.
Nash assumes her role immediately and can be heard on WBHK-FM from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
