After seven years co-anchoring Wisconsin’s Morning News on Good Karma Brands News/Talk 620 WTMJ Milwaukee, Jane Matenaer exited the station following today’s broadcast.
Matenaer joined WTMJ in 2015 after five years in mornings at AC “B93.3” WLDB and 25 years at “99.1 The Mix” WMYX. She told listeners this morning that she gave notice to the station a couple weeks ago and does not plan to retire. She told the Milwaukee Business Journal that she’s looking at some options but will be staying in media, “I’m so not qualified for so many things that I will say I’m looking forward to continuing in media in a fashion.”
