iHeartMedia has announced the promotion of Noreen Ippolito to Market President for their San Diego and Riverside/San Bernardino stations.
Ippolito has been with iHeartMedia San Diego and its predecessors since 1995 most recently as Senior Vice President of Sales. During her tenure she has also held titles of Director of Business Development, Director of NTR, Local Sales Manager and VP/Sales.
Melissa Forrest, who currently serves as President of iHeartMedia’s San Diego and Arizona region, will transition into a consulting position with the company. Forrest has been with iHeartMedia since 2008 spending four years as Market President in Atlanta before relocating to San Diego in 2012 and rising to her most recent role four years later. Forrest has also led clusters for Entercom in Austin and Seattle.
iHeartMedia announced today Noreen Ippolito has been named Market President for iHeartMedia San Diego, California, effective July 31.
As the San Diego Market President for the iHeartMedia Markets Group, Ippolito will oversee the eight-station cluster consisting of KGB 101.5, Rock 105.5, Channel 93.3, Star 94.1, JAMN 95.7, KOGO 600, AM 760 and Xtra 1360, as well as the Riverside Ca. cluster consisting of Q103.3, KGGI, Radio 94.5, FOX 1350, and BIN: Black Information Network AM 1440.
Ippolito succeeds Melissa Forrest, who will transition into a consultant role. She will report directly to Tom McConnell, Division President for iHeartMedia Markets Group.
