Completing a multi-year series of translator upgrades and relocations, Geos Communications has rebranded its Classic Hits network in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre market as “Gem 99 & 100.
The former “Gem 104” had rebranded as “Gem 100 & 104” in June 2021 with its move in Wilkes-Barre to 99.9 W260DV Dallas. Now it has moved in Scranton from 104.5 W283BE to 750 WQOR Olyphant/98.9 W255BO Scranton and in Tunkhannock from 104.3 W282BK to 100.9 W265EK. “Gem 99 & 100” is also heard on 730 WGMF Nanticoke, 1460 WGMM Tunkhannock, 103.9 WGMF-FM Dushore, 93.9 W230DI Clarks Summit, 99.5 W258DJ Hazleton, 99.9 W260DV Dallas,
WQOR and W255BO had been part of the “JMJ Catholic Radio” network. Its programming has relocated in the market to 106.9 WEZX-HD4 and the newly upgraded 104.5 W283BE, which now covers both Scranton and Wilkes-Barre with 194w/379m.
