Salt & Light Media Ministries has filed to acquire 97.1 WGJC University Park/State College from Covenant Communications for $300,000 and 102.3 W272EN State College.
The deal will be paid with a $50,000 payment at closing and then ten annual payments of $25,000. The deal will also include a $100 per month tower lease for WGJC on its current tower.
Salt & Light Media Ministries owns a network of Christian AC stations in Central Pennsylvania based at 91.3 WGRC Lewisburg PA.

The Lewisburg based 91.3 WGRC has begun airing on Covenant Communications’ 97.1 WGJC University Park. The former Classic Hits WOWY had been running a redirect loop since the format moved to 103.1 following Seven Mountains Media’s purchase of Forever Media’s stations in early January that led to Covenant, led by Seven Mountains Chairman Jim Loftus, acquiring to former Seven Mountains licenses to divest.
WGRC has been heard in State College on 102.3 W272EN.
