With PMB Broadcasting closing on the $1.3 million sale of 95.3 WRLD Valley AL/Columbus GA to Augusta Radio Fellowship Institute, the station’s former Adult R&B “95.3 Smooth R&B” format has moved to a new home.
1420 WRCG/92.1 W221DP Columbus have dropped their Gospel/Sports “Flavor 92.1” identity to become “92.1 Smooth R&B“. Moving along with the brand is the Rickey Smiley Morning Show and the local midday show hosted by Rasheeda Ali and evening show hosted by Kedra Nicole.
WRCG is one of three Adult R&B stations in the Columbus market along with iHeartMedia’s “Magic 101.3” WAGH and Davis Broadcasting’s “K92.7” WKZJ.
