Ad Astra per Aspera Broadcasting closed on their acquisition of three stations from the bankruptcy auction of Rocking M Media as they relaunch the stations with new branding and call letters.
“95.5 The Rock” KVOB Lindsborg/Salina is now “Rock 95.5” KLBG. The station had flipped from Variety Hits “95.5 Jack-FM” in December.
Classic Country “Kansas Country 96.7” KSOB Larned is now KGBK as it prepares to move to 98.9 with an upgrade from a Class A to C3 pending FCC approval.
Oldies 1510 KNNS Larned has shifted to Classic Hits as KLQR. The station and now former sister 107.9 KZRS Great Bend/Hays had flipped from Conservative Talk “The Patriot” to Oldies in January.
All three stations are utilizing programming from Westwood One.
