With the end of Alternative “The 101” on 100.9 KSXY Forestville/Santa Rosa CA at 12pm today, Wine Country Radio moved Bilingual CHR “Latino 95.5” from K238AF Santa Rosa/KSXY-HD2 to the full-powered 100.9 signal.
With the move to 100.9, the station will add Entravision’s syndicated “Shoboy Show” for mornings.
In a release, Wine Country Radio President/CEO Ravi Potharlanka stated, “This expansion of LATINO radio’s reach allows us to connect with more listeners than ever and further our mission to provide diverse, high-quality programming for our community and advertisers.” Cluster General Manager Melissa Galliani added, “This strategic move strengthens our position in the region and solidifies Wine Country Radio as a diverse and dynamic radio presence in Northern California.”
KSXY-HD2 had a 0.5 share in the April 2023 Eastlan ratings on the 240 watt translator signal.
Original Report 6/23: Wine Country Radio Alternative “The 101” 100.9 KSXY Forestville/Santa Rosa CA will debut a new format on Monday, June 26.
The station posted a message directing listeners to sister AAA “The Krush 95.9” KRSH Healdsburg and Variety Hits “96.7 Bob-FM” KNOB Healdsburg. KSXY currently features Program Director Dray Lopez in mornings, Mackenzie Miller in middays, and Natalie Wright in afternoons. All three hold other on-air roles within the cluster which also includes Spanish CHR “Latino 95.5” K238AF Santa Rosa/KSXY-HD2 and Regional Mexican “Exitos 98.7” KXTS Geyserville.
KSXY ranked fifteenth in the Santa Rosa market with a 1.8 share in the April 2023 Eastlan ratings.
No word yet on what will debut on the 100.9 frequency.
