The new format creates a competitor to Audacy’s “Kiss 98.5” WKSE Niagara Falls, which shifted more into a more Adult lean following the sale and flip of co-owned Hot AC “Star 102.5” WTSS last month.
The Classic Hip Hop format registered a 0.5 share in the May 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings with its 250w/78m signal covering only a portion of the market.
