Press Communications’ Classic Rock “107.1 The Boss” WWZY Long Branch/99.7 WBHX Tuckerton NJ will reunite four members of the original “Z Morning Zoo” on Friday, July 28 from 7-9am in honor of the 40th anniversary of the station’s launch.

Scott Shannon, Ross Brittain, Claire Stevens, and ‘Professor’ Jonathan B. Bell will present “The Morning Zoo 40th Anniversary Spectacular” just days before what will be “Z100” WHTZ Newark/New York’s birthday on August 2. Program Director/morning host Robbie Bridges notes that they’ll play bits from 1983 and have additional surprise guests.

Press Communications’ WWZY/WBHX (107-1 The Boss) presents a special live broadcast event Friday July 28th from 7-9am with “The Morning Zoo 40th Anniversary Spectacular” hosted by Scott Shannon with Ross Brittain, Claire Stevens and Professor Jonathan B. Bell. The crew famously came together as The Morning Zoo when Shannon launched Z100 (WHTZ) as a CHR 40 years ago this week. They’ll play some of the hits that took them from worst to first that summer of 1983, some classic Zoo songs, bits and even some surprise guests (Mr Leonard?). It’s all part of a special edition of “Robby and Rochelle in the Morning” on 107-1 The Boss.
