Audacy Sports “ESPN 1320” KIFM Sacramento has announced the addition of James Ham and Kyle Madson to host “The Insiders” from 10am-12pm weekdays.
Ham is the owner of “The Kings Beat” and has served as a Sacramento Kings reporter for the station since 2021. He previously held the same role for NBC Sports California. Madson has served as a producer at sister “95.7 The Game” KGMZ San Francisco since 2019 and previously held host and producer roles at “Sports 1140” KHTK Sacramento and manages San Francisco 49ers focused NinersWire.com.
Audacy announces a new midday show on ESPN 1320 (KIFM-AM) in Sacramento. “The Insiders,” starring James Ham and Kyle Madson, airs weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PT.

A Sacramento native, Ham began covering the Sacramento Kings as a full-time beat writer during the 2010 season for ESPN’s TrueHoop Network. Over the last 13 seasons, he’s provided daily coverage of the Kings as a credentialed media member for ESPN, NBA.com, NBC Sports Bay Area and now at The Kings Beat. Ham has provided balanced coverage of the Kings from various platforms, from writing to podcasting to radio. He’s also covered the San Francisco 49ers, Golden State Warriors and Oakland Athletics.

Madson is a Bay Area native who has taken on Sacramento as a second home. The Sacramento State graduate has pursued a radio career since college and spent time in the Sacramento and Bay Area markets. Aside from radio, he’s also found a role as a blogger and podcaster covering the San Francisco 49ers.
