Cumulus Media Talk 102.3 WGOW-FM Soddy-Daisy/Chattanooga TN is revamping its morning schedule.
New Program Director Jed Mescon will join Jim ‘JR’ Reynolds in mornings from 6-9am. Former 10am-12pm host Brad Giese will move to morning show producer and contributor and then host the 9am hour. “Jed and JR Mornings” replaces “The Morning Press” hosted by former PD/morning host Kevin West with Reynolds and Brian Joyce prior to his retirement in June and subsequent passing.
Joyce will move to 10am-12pm for “Brian Joyce Unfiltered” with Jim Stevens as producer.
The remainder of WGOW-FM’s lineup remains the same with “Let’s Talk Money” from 12-1pm, and the Dave Ramsey Show from 1-3pm. “Sporttalk” hosted by Scott ‘The Mighty Quake’ McMahen and ‘Cowboy Joe’ Varner remain in afternoons from 3-7pm.
Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that Talk radio station WGOW/Talk Radio 102.3 in Chattanooga, TN, debuts a new morning on-air lineup this week. On Monday, October 2nd, the station launched its new morning show, “Jed and JR Mornings,” hosted by Jed Mescon and Jim “JR” Reynolds. “Jed and JR Mornings” airs weekdays from 6:00am-9:00am. Brad Giese has joined the morning team as a Producer and Contributor. Rounding out the morning team is Captain Max with Right Now Traffic, Greg Schaeffer with weather, and Louis Lee as News Contributor.
Following “Jed and JR Mornings” on Talk Radio 102.3 in the new lineup is “The Brad Giese Show,” airing weekdays from 9:00am–10:00am, with Max O’Brien as Producer and Contributor. From 10:00am-12:00 Noon, “Brian Joyce Unfiltered’ takes listeners into the Noon hour, with Jim Stevens as Producer.
