Former “99.7 The Blitz” WRKZ Columbus morning host Jeremy Loper says that he is joining iHeartMedia Classic Rock “105.9 The Rock” WNRQ Nashville for mornings starting Monday, January 15.
Loper previously hosted mornings on WRKZ from April 2012 until August 2022 with his wife Randi Rasar. The duo also spent four years in mornings at Alternative “103.1 The Buzz” WPBZ West Palm Beach where they were paired together as a morning team and then wed. He has also worked on-air at WZTA Miami, WAMX/WBKS Huntington WV, KHTB Salt Lake City, WZBH Salisbury MD, and WFLY Albany NY.
He will fill the morning opening alongside incumbent co-host Tim Battle created by Josh Innes’ exit last February to join Hubbard Classic Rock 94.7 KSHE St. Louis as afternoon host.
iHeartMedia Nashville’s 105.9 The Rock, Nashville’s Classic Rock, announced today the debut of “The Loper Show,” launching Monday, January 15, 2024. The Loper Show will broadcast weekdays from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Jeremy Loper has been a staple in the Columbus, Ohio market for over a decade, where he hosted mornings on WRKZ (99.7 The Blitz). Loper will be joined by Tim Battle, who has been with 105.9 the Rock for nearly ten years in a variety of roles.
