Audacy Hip Hop 102.5 KSFM and CHR “106.5 The End” KUDL Sacramento Brand Manager Ben ‘Complex’ Romero has added those duties for Classic Hip Hop “102 Jams” KRBQ San Francisco.
Romero joined KSFM in April 2023 and added the duties for KUDL in July. He previously spent eleven years at Desert Valley Media Group Rhythmic CHR “Power 98.3/96.1” KKFR Phoenix where he rose to PD in 2019. He has also programmed KSRV and KWYD Boise from 2008 to 2012 and KWIE Riverside from 2004-2007 and worked at KDAY Los Angeles and had an earlier stint at KKFR and sister “Hot 97.5” KMVA Phoenix.
Complex takes the day-to-day programming duties of KRBQ from Audacy SVP of Programming and Head of Musical Initiatives Michael Martin.
Audacy announces Ben ‘Complex’ Romero as Brand Manager for 102 Jams (KRBQ-FM) in San Francisco. Romero will oversee the station’s content strategy, talent, operations, and branding in this role. He will retain the same position in Sacramento for sister stations 102.5 KSFM (KSFM-FM) and 106.5 The End (KUDL-FM).

Born and raised in Southern California, ‘Complex’ started his professional radio career in programming in 2001. Previous roles include Assistant Program Director and Music Director for Wild 96.1 in San Bernadino, CA, assisting in relaunching K-Day 93.5 in Los Angeles, Program Director for Wild 101 and BOB FM 96.1 in Boise, ID, Assistant Program Director and Music Director for Hot 97.5 in Phoenix, and Program Director for Power 98.3 in Phoenix.
