iHeartMedia has promoted Leon Williamson from Senior VP/Sales to Market President of its Indianapolis cluster.
Williamson had been with iHeartMedia Indianapolis since August 2022 after previously spending eighteen months as a Senior AE for their Miami cluster. He also served as Local Sales Manager & Digital Sales Manager for Radio One St. Louis from 2012-16 and Senior Account Manager for Cox Radio Miami from 2006-12. He will continue to report to John Beck as Area President for iHeartMedia St. Louis and Indianapolis.
Beck commented, “Leon is a solid and very thoughtful leader. In his nearly two years at iHeartMedia Indianapolis, Leon has done a fantastic job building a solid team and fostering a deep connection with the Indy community. We are excited to have him at the helm in Indianapolis, continuing to drive our success and innovation.”
Williamson said, “As the new Market President at iHeartMedia Indianapolis, my commitment is to lead with purpose and uplift our community. My mission is to leverage the power of audio to empower voices, inspire change, and build a legacy of unity and progress.”
Beck had been directly overseeing the Indianapolis cluster since Kristy Beebe’s promotion to Area President for their Kentucky/Carolina Area in September 2022.
