Norsan Media will pay $6 million for JVC Broadcasting’s Conservative Talk “Florida Man Radio” 103.1 WFYY Windermere and Sports “ESPN 660” WDYZ Altamonte Springs/105.5 W288CJ Oviedo in the Orlando market.
A Time Brokerage Agreement will take effect on Monday, June 17 with Norsan paying all operational costs for the stations including its $14,417.56 monthly studio lease, although both companies will pay half of that for the first three months.
Original Report 6/13: Norsan Media has announced the acquisition of JVC Broadcasting’s stations in Orlando FL for an undisclosed amount.
Norsan will acquire Conservative Talk “Florida Man Radio” 103.1 WFYY Windermere and Sports “ESPN 660” WDYZ Altamonte Springs/105.5 W288CJ Oviedo with flips to Spanish language formats to follow. CEO Natalia Sanchez Alvarez says, “This is not only the 9th market the company will have operations in, but it’s a strategic move to embed within the thriving local Hispanic community in Orlando and foster genuine connections there. As we continue to expand and innovate, these additions are poised to bring fresh perspectives and dynamic content to our growing audience. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.”
Norsan Media was founded by Norberto Sanchez in 2004 and currently owns 40+ radio stations, 4 television stations, and regional print/digital publications. Its holding company NORSAN dates to 1987 and operates 18 restaurants.
JVC Broadcasting will retain its stations in Long Island NY and Fort Walton Beach and Ocala FL.

My thoughts, more funding by Soros only to acquire conservative radio to push liberal agenda to Hispanics audiences.
Sorry to blaze through your conspiracy nonsense, but Soros has no connection with Norsan Media. Nor is he directly involved in the purchases being funded by his companies…
You said Soros is not “directly” involved. Is he involved in any kind of way?
In this JVC/Norsan deal, George Soros has ZERO involvement in the transaction. Neither HE or his companies are involved in any way. An investment fund created by Soros’ company that he is not the direct overseer of is investing in another company (Audacy). Just like every other investment fund, they choose companies to invest in on whether they believe it will create more money for their investors. Nothing to do with politics.
