Northeast Digital & Wireless AAA “92.5 The River” WXRV Andover/Boston MA has moved Randi Kirshbaum to mornings following the exit of ‘Charlie Wilde’ Hackett earlier this month.

Kirshbaum had been tracking nights for WXRV since last December. She also tracks middays at the company’s AAA “The Point” network in Vermont based at 104.7 WNCS Montpelier. She’s best known for her 38 year run at Saga Communications Portland ME from 1982 until 2020 first at AC 93.1 WMGX from 1982 to 2006 then AAA 98.9 WCLZ and Country 101.9 WPOR until exiting in 2020 due to her inability to work from their studios during the pandemic due to her medical condition. Since then she has built up a AAA voicetracking stable that previously including 98.9 KPNW-FM Seattle and 103.1 WRNR-FM Annapolis MD. Prior to her arrival in Maine, she worked on-air at Freeform Rockers KQRS Minneapolis, WKTK Baltimore, WHFS Washington DC, and WBCN Boston.

Wilde had joined WXRV as morning host in June 2022 after previously serving as VP New Business Development/Marketing Consultant in 2013-15. He has previously held on-air roles in the market hosting mornings at Rhythmic AC “Star 93.7” WQSX from 1999-01 and weekends/fill-ins at Hot AC “Mix 98.5” WBMX from 2002-04. Previous on-air stops also included being the first American to host mornings in the UK on “Kiss 100” London from 1995-97, mornings at WVMX Cincinnati, KSAN San Francisco, nights and afternoons at KDWB Minneapolis, nights at KPKE Denver, and SiriusXM’s “70s on 7” and “90s on 9”
