iHeartMedia Sports “Rip City Radio 620” KPOJ Portland has announced the addition of Sean Highkin as the station’s Portland Trail Blazers correspondent
Highkin is a longtime NBA reporter who will provide comprehensive coverage of the games, practices, and press conferences regarding the franchise. He has covered the Blazers since 2017 for Bleacher Report and his own Rose Garden Report including being named as the 2023 Oregon Sportswriter of the Year. He previously has covered the Chicago Bulls for Bleacher Report, NBC Sports, and The Athletic and covered the NBA for ESPN, USA Today, and Sports on Earth.
He commented, “When this opportunity was presented to me, it was a no-brainer. I’m excited to do more on the radio side in addition to my written coverage of the Trail Blazers and work with the very talented team at Rip City Radio.”
