Beasley Media’s “Country 102.5” WKLB-FM Waltham/Boston MA has promoted Ben Beaulieu to Music Director and afternoon host.
Beaulieu, who graduated from Merrimack College earlier this year, has worked at the station as a part-time host since 2021 and has been filling-in afternoons since the exit of Jackson Blue in May. He also programs webcaster TNNRadio.com as part of his Rebel Media Group.
Beaulieu shared on Facebook, “This incredible opportunity means the world to me because I grew up listening to this station – it’s been the soundtrack to so many moments in my life. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way — I couldn’t have done this without you!”
It’s been a pleasure to watch his career over the last few years. I’ve worked with many younger people in my day, and I haven’t seen a young enthusiastic person like this in radio, probably ever. As a blind person, he taught me how to use station playlist effectively on our short lived AAA radio station the mountain. We learned a lot working together for that year, and that experience carried me to my current gig at K-zap Sacramento. He is made for this. he’s enthusiastic, humorous, but above all a team player.
