As part of the on-going cutbacks at Audacy, the company has eliminated the entire airstaff of Hip Hop “Hot 104.1” WHHL Hazlewood/St. Louis MO.
Among those exiting the station are midday host Shae Bae, afternoon host Princess Stormm, and evening host DJ Raymond. Shae Bae began her career at the cluster in college as a weekend host on then-CHR “Now 96.3” KNOU and Hot AC “Y98” KYKY. She moved to weekends at WHHL in 2021 rising to middays in June 2022. Stormm, also APD of WHHL and Adult R&B “96.3 The Lou” WFUN-FM, has been with the stations since 2009 starting as an intern.
WHHL ranked fifteenth in the January 2025 Nielsen Audio ratings with a 2.3 share, but lead iHeartMedia’s competing “100.3 The Beat” KATZ-FM’s 2.1.
Multiple sources indicate that WHHL will flip to a simulcast of News/Talk 1120 KMOX in time for the start of the 2025 MLB season later this month.
