Reno Media Group is making morning show changes at two of its stations.
Longtime Hot AC “Alice 96.5” KLCA Tahoe City morning hosts Bill Schulz and Jlynn will move to sister AC “Sunny 106.9” KRNO Incline Village on Thursday, March 27 replacing Jeff Ryan.
Schulz, who was promoted to Reno Media Group VP/Programming earlier this year, has been heard in mornings in the market since 1996. During that time he was heard on “Oldies 104” KODS and CHR 97.3 KWNZ prior to moving to KLCA in 2002. He commented, “This will be my fourth radio home with Reno Media Group and it’s exciting to now be on the air at Reno’s top-rated radio station.” The show’s current benchmark features such as “Trending,” “Would You Rather” and “The Impossible Question” will move over with it to KRNO on what will be billed as the “Feel Good Morning Show”.
Reno Media Group VP/General Manager Kara Brown said, “The Alice Morning Show over the years has prided itself on not only being fun and entertaining, but also being a big part of the community.”
KLCA afternoon host Landon Miller will move to mornings. Miller previously served as morning anchor at KTVN-TV Reno, while simultaneously hosting afternoons at KLCA.
