With the start of the Spring ratings survey, Nielsen Audio will no longer measure the Lakeland/Winter Haven FL market.

The most recent survey for Fall 2024 included just one remaining subscribing station with Walco Enterprises’ “Boss Hog Radio” 1360 WHNR registering a 0.2 share after Hall Communications ceased subscribing.

Lakeland/Winter Haven was most recently ranked market #78. As part of its Spring 2025 market list revision, all markets below Lakeland have moved up one rank. A notice to subscribers says, “Effective with the start of the Spring 2025 survey, the Lakeland-Winter Haven Radio Metro was canceled. Therefore, usage of audience estimates for Lakeland-Winter Haven Metro data must cease as of August 1, 2025.” Nielsen also says, “Canceled Radio Metros may contain outdated (stale) data that are no longer current. Subscribing clients may only use the data for up to six months following the final data release subject to the canceled Radio Metro’s previous frequency of measurement.”
