Great Plains Media’s Cookeville Communications will flip Conservative Talk “1400 The Hub” WHUB Cookeville TN to Christian AC “107.7 Grace-FM” with emphasis on the station’s translator 107.7 W299BY on Good Friday, April 18.
The station’s announcement says it will “now focus on uplifting and faith-based content, bringing listeners the best in Christian music, inspiration, and encouragement.” It says that the shift reflects the station’s dedication to serving the spiritual and musical needs of the Upper Cumberland region with its programming featuring top Contemporary Christian artists, engaging faith-based discussions, and family-friendly programming designed to inspire and uplift listeners of all ages.
General Manager Jason Grider said, “We’re excited to embark on this new journey and bring a message of hope, love, and positivity to our listeners. This change aligns with our mission to provide meaningful content that resonates with the community, and we believe this new format will have a positive impact on our audience.”
WHUB currently features the local morning show “Good Morning Cookeville” hosted by Grider and Sheila Scruggs followed by syndicated talkers Brian Kilmeade, Clay Travis & Buck Sexton, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin.
