The changes caused by Cumulus Media’s cancellation of seven 24/7 formats continues to grow as Cumulus flipped Rock “98.1 The Phantom” KTLT Anson/Abilene TX to AC.
Now positioning as “Abilene’s Feel-Good Station”, the move brings AC to a market that has not had anything in that format lane for many years. The station had been running Westwood One’s now-discontinued “Rock 2.0” format.
KTLT’s former format served as a flanker to Classic Rock “102.7 The Bear” KHXS against Townsquare Media Rock “Rock 108” KEYJ.
