Audacy News/Talk 98.1 KMBZ-FM Kansas City has announced the return of Jonathan Wier to the station to co-host middays with Jayme Monacelli.
Wier previously hosted 9am-12pm and then nights at KMBZ-FM from 2012 to 2019. He began his career at 97.1 KFTK-FM St. Louis at the age of 20 as a host and producer and later co-hosted afternoons at WSKY Gainesville prior to joining KMBZ. Wier most recently spend two stints in mornings with Ayla Brown at Beasley Media Country 102.5 WKLB-FM Boston from 2019 until 2022 and then from October 2023 until last August.
Wier will fill the midday slot most recently held by Jon Grayson until his retirement from the station earlier this month.
