Following the completion of its sale of its Alexandria LA cluster to Mark Porter’s Globecomm Media, Stephens Media Group is exiting the state with the sale of its four stations in Monroe LA.
The Jeffrey Guerriero led Warrior Media LLC will acquire the cluster for $450,000. Guerriero is a third generation personal injury attorney based in Monroe and sports agent. He will own 60% of the cluster with three other Monroe business owners holding the remainder.
The stations involved in the deal are Country “92.3 The Wolf” KMYY Rayville, AC “Sunny 98.3” KZRZ West Monroe, CHR “103.1 Now-FM” KNNW Columbia, and Rock “Rock 106” KXRR Monroe. Stephens had acquired the Monroe cluster as part of its $21 million acquisition of Mapleton Communications in 2019.
The Tulsa based Stephens retains its stations in California, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon and Washington.
