Connoisseur Media has made a pair of executive shifts as it prepares its acquisition of Alpha Media.
Chief Operating Officer David Bevins will give up his day-to-day management of the company’s Long Island NY cluster to focus on broader corporate initiatives leading the integration of Alpha’s properties into the company. Bevins had added oversight of the Long Island station in April 2020. He has been with the current iteration of Connoisseur since 2006 after previously serving as a General Manager for Connoisseur Communications in Rockford IL from 1993-2000. He also held management roles with Clear Channel Chicago and Radio One Cleveland.
Kristin Okesson, who has led the company’s Connecticut stations since they were acquired in 2013, will add oversight of the Long Island properties. Okesson previously served as General Sales Manager for Cumulus Media Bridgeport CT and then Market Manager for Cumulus in Westchester NY and Danbury CT and Market Manager for Cox Media Group in Connecticut from 2008 until its sale to Connoisseur.
Connoisseur Media CEO Jeff Warshaw said, “These leadership changes reflect our confidence in our team and our vision for Connoisseur’s future. Kristin and David exemplify the kind of forward-thinking, community-driven leadership that defines our brand. As we grow, we are excited to have their expertise guiding both our legacy markets and new additions.”
