Rubber City Radio Classic Rock 97.5 WONE-FM Akron OH has cut ties with PD/morning host Matt Spatz and morning co-host Amanda Casey.
The duo took over mornings in January 2021 with Spatz rising to PD in December of that year. Spatz previously worked on-air at WONE from 1994-1997 and later programmed WROV Roanoke VA from 2006-2007, WNCD and WAKZ Youngstown OH from 2007-2011 and WYFM and WWIZ Youngstown from 2013 until rejoining WONE. Casey rejoined WONE after previously working at the station from 2007 to 2010. She also hosted middays at Audacy Hot AC “Q104” WQAL Cleveland from 2018-2020, was Operations Manager for Hot AC “Couger 93.7” WQGR North Madison OH from 2013-18, and OM/PD for Carroll Media Riverton WY in 2006.
The station has not announced any plans for the positions.
