Connoisseur Media has announced the promotion of Dylan Salisbury to Content Director for both CHR “Live 95.5” KBFF and Country “98.7 The Bull” KUPL Portland.
Salisbury joined the then-Alpha Media cluster as Content Director/afternoon host for KBFF in June 2022. He added Assistant Content Director duties for KUPL in January 2024. KUPL had been programmed by Collective Heads co-founders Tim Richards and Jimmy Steal since January 2024 and will report to Connoisseur Portland Operations Manager Ross MacLeod.
Prior to arriving in Portland, Salisbury programmed Cumulus Media CHR “98.9 Magic-FM” KKMG Colorado Springs. He has also served as APD/MD/afternoon host at WZPL Indianapolis, Music Director/afternoon host at KKDM Des Moines, afternoon host at KFRX Lincoln NE, and producer and late night host at KDWB Minneapolis.
MacLeod commented, “Dylan is one of the great young programmers in this country. These two brands are in the best possible hands.”
Salisbury added, “When I interviewed to come to Portland, I shared that it was my dream to one day program both a CHR and a Country station in a market like this. Today, that dream has come true, and I’m beyond grateful. We’ve got something special brewing here, and I can’t wait to take it to the next level. Collective Heads will continue to work with Connoisseur Media on specialized strategic initiatives across its portfolio under the direction of SVP/Programming Keith Dakin. Dakin said, “Connoisseur thanks Collective Heads for all the hard work they have put in to get this station to a place that we are happy to hand off to Dylan. Dylan and Ross together should take the blueprint from Tim and Jimmy and continue to produce a thriving, locally focused, country station for Portland.”
