Townsquare Media Hot AC “94.3 The Point” WJLK Asbury Park NJ Brand Manager/afternoon host Matt Ryan is now being heard on three stations across the state.
Ryan, who has been with WJLK since 2009, began simulcasting on CHR 94.5 WPST Trenton at the start of the summer and is now returning to Hot AC “SoJo 104.9” WSJO Egg Harbor City/Atlantic City where he previously was heard from 2005 to 2019. Ryan says, “This show is truly local – live callers, contests, and content made just for our communities. Nothing is pre-recorded.”
Ryan began his career at 100.1 WJRZ Manahawkin NJ at the age of 14. He joined what became Townsquare in 2005 as Production Director for Talk/Classic Hits “New Jersey 101.5” WKXW Trenton where he also hosted a Saturday Night 80s show and afternoons at WSJO. During his time with the company, Ryan also has been heard on their CHRs across the country including hosting the weekly “PopCrush Top 20” from 2014 to 2018 and the syndicated “PopCrush Nights” in 2020.
WSJO had been featuring Townsquare’s Carly and Dunken based at KROC-FM Rochester MN in afternoons. Its lineup is now completely identical to WJLK as it also simulcasts WJLK’s morning show hosted by Lou Russo and Michelle Pilenza. Deanna Regalado tracks middays and Townsquare/Compass Media Networks’ “PopCrush Nights” is heard in evenings.
