After stunting since Friday as “Meow 105.7” with 1990s hits mixed with a cat themed takeover, Miracle Media One has launched “The Valley’s 105.7” on Butte Broadcasting’s 105.7 K289CH Chico/104.9 KYIX-HD3 South Oroville CA.
Positioning as “Your Variety Station” with a mix of music from the 1980s through now, the station will feature Radiocraft’s The TJ Show in mornings, Rick Dees’ “Daily Dees” in middays, Compass Media Network’s “Anna & Raven” in afternoons, and Radiocraft’s “Liveline” with Mason Kelter at night.
Miracle Media One Vice President Robert Paul said, “We’ve finally wrestled back control of the studio from our feral friends. It was a fun, nostalgic stunt that let us celebrate the 90s one last time before evolving into something bigger and we’d even venture to say… better!—Your Variety Station for the entire Northern Sacramento Valley. Prior to stunting, the station had been Hot AC “105.7 The Mountain“.

The station will stunt with a cat theme mixed with 1990s hits until Wednesday, October 8 at 12pm when it will debut a new identity. The company says that it is a full-on cat takeover, “Think of 105.7 FM as a musical litterbox — brimming with aromatic 90s trinkets, hidden gems, and nostalgic treasures.”
VP/General Manager Robert Paul said, “We’re pawsitively thrilled to share this mews with our listeners. The 90s were a cat-alyst for unforgettable music, and now we’re serving it up with a feline twist. It’s fun, it’s nostalgic, and it’s absolutely hiss-terical.”
The station had launched its “105.7 The Mountain” identity in January as a partnership between Rob Austin’s The Mountain of Chico Inc. and Miracle Media One on the Butte Broadcasting owned signals.
