Midwest Communications Country “Y100” WNCY-FM Neenah-Menasha/Appleton/Green Bay WI has announced the promotion of morning host Randy ‘Shotgun’ Shannon to Brand Manager.

Shannon previously programmed WNCY from 1996 to 2006 before returning as Digital Director in 2012 and becoming morning host in 2016. He has also held roles programming Cumulus’ WPCK/WPKR in the market, KWOF Denver, and WYXY Springfield IL along with holding roles as APD/MD/morning co-host at KCYY San Antonio and KWLI Denver. He commented, “WNCY has always been my baby. I’ve been involved with the station since the beginning 30 years ago and I’m excited to be at the helm of this legendary station again, and getting a chance to shape my own team!”

WNCY will soon announce a new co-host for Shannon in mornings following Charli McKenzie’s departure earlier this years after 20 years in the role to move closer to family in Michigan.
