Lilly Broadcasting is acquiring James Embrescia’s Media One Group’s properties in Ashtabula OH and Jamestown NY for $4 million.
Lilly, which owns television stations in Erie PA, Elmira NY, Marquette MI, Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, and Guam, currently owns CHR “Happi 92.7” WICU-FM Erie and three stations in Warren PA: WICU-FM simulcaster 1310 WICU/96.7 W244DY, Oldies “92 Gold” WRRN-FM, and “104.3 Kinzua Country” WNAE-FM Clarendon. It will add the Media One properties under the name Glenora Radio Network.
The deal give Lilly two clusters in areas adjacent to Erie. In Ohio it adds Classic Hits “Mix 97.1” WREO-FM Ashtabula, Country “98.3 The Bull” WYBL Ashtabula, Oldies “Magic 102.5” WZOO-FM Edgewater, Classic Rock “107.5 The Fox” WFXJ-FM North Kingsville and Sports “ESPN 970” WFUN Ashtabula. In New York, Lilly adds Hot AC “SE 93” WWSE Jamestown, “My Country 101.9” WHUG Jamestown, “Rock 103” WQFX-FM Russell PA, “Kissin Oldies 106.9” WKZA Lakewood, Talk/AC 1240 WJTA/101.3 W267CN Jamestown, and Standards “Legends 1340” WKSN Jamestown.
