Sinclair Communications Modern Rock “96X” is in the process of a musical tweak as it shifts towards a Modern Hits direction similar to the recently launched “Click” branded stations in Seattle and Dayton.
Harder edged songs are out and in its place are pop crossovers from the likes of Pink, Rob Thomas, and Colbie Callait. With the musical changes, Nick Chappell will shift from afternoons to mornings replacing Mike & Bob. Mike Powers will remain with the company in an unannounced position, no word on the status of Bob Fresh.
