Conveniently timed with Indiana University’s run to the NCAA football championship, Sarkes Tarzian has flipped “Bloomington’s Voice” 1370 WGCL/98.7 W254DP Bloomington IN to Sports “98.7 The Zone” WWZN.
The move comes with a shift from a mix of Conservative Talk and Sports to completely focusing on Sports. Program Director/morning host Kent Sterling moves from 7-9am to 9-11am. Afternoon host Mike ‘Glass’ Glasscott remains in the 3-6pm timeslot. WWZN will also add the regionally syndicated “Indiana Sports Daily” hosted by Jim Coyle from 1-3pm. Westwood One Sports Network programming will air in most other timeslots.
WWZN will retain its local service elements with newscaster Diane Daily and sportscaster Joe Smith remaining.
