Jared Goodell’s Community Media closed on its $500,000 purchase of Four Seasons Media’s Hot AC 96.7 WTSA-FM and Rock “99.5 The Beast” 1450 WTSA/99.5 W258DW Brattleboro VT and conducted a pair of format changes on January 1.
WTSA-FM has shifted to AC as “Magic 96.7“. Goodell, who previously held on-air and sales roles at Saga Communications in Brattleboro and Keene and Manchester NH between 2011 and 2016 and later served as Operations Manager for the syndicated Howie Carr Show and weekend host on WRKO Boston before moving into real estate investment, is also anchoring “Magic Mornings with JJ & Gini” alongside Gini Kernozicky. The station has also added John Tesh’s “Intelligence For Your Life” for nights.
A bigger shift took place at 1450 WTSA/99.5 W258DW where the Rock format gave way to “Country 99.5“.
Previous WTSA-FM morning host and Beast afternoon host Tom Mayo has exited with the closing.
