Two morning hosts have exited Townsquare Media Portland ME.
At AC 94.9 WHOM, Jeff Parsons has exited after nearly 30 years at cluster. He spent the majority of his career at CHR “Q97.9” WJBQ from its launch in November 1996 and moved to mornings in 1998. He was paired with Lori Voornas in 1999 and the duo moved to WHOM in May 2023. Following Voornas’ retirement last June, Lizzy Snyder joined Parsons on the WHOM morning show. Prior to joining WJBQ, Parsons worked at multiple stations in Bangor and programmed CHR “Red Hot 95.9” WRED Portland.
Snyder remains in mornings.
Over at WJBQ, Kristina ‘Krissy T’ Williamson is out after two and a half years in mornings. Krissy joined WJBQ when Parsons and Voornas moved to WHOM in May 2023.
After starting her career at WODS Boston, she first established herself in the market co-hosting mornings at Mainestream Media Rhythmic CHR “Hot 104.7” WHTP from 2015 to 2019. She then moved to Detroit with brief stints hosting nights at iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI, co-hosting mornings at Cumulus Media’s “New Country 93.1” and local Sports startup Woodward Sports until a Cumulus lawsuit over breach of contract.
