A trio of stations serving the Interstate 15 corridor between Barstow, CA and Las Vegas as “98 & 99 The Highway” have flipped to Dance using the “Vibe” moniker most recently used on 94.5 KVBE.
After Jelli Inc. took assumed the programming on 94.5 on July 1, The Vibe’s programming continued to be heard from 12am to 5am on 99.7 KHYZ Mountain Pass, CA and its booster licensed to Las Vegas. Now KHYZ and its normal simulcast partners 98.1 KRXV Barstow, CA and 98.9 KHWY Essex, CA have dropped their Hot AC format for 24/7 Dance as “The Highway Vibe“.
The Highway Vibe continues to air its full service elements including AP News at the top of the hour and traffic reports on the major highways between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
