MBM Radio Laredo has moved Spanish CHR “Digital 107.3” XHGTS-FM Nuevo Laredo, MX to 94.9 KQUR Laredo displacing Rock “94.9 The Works“.

The staff of “The Works” were promoting that station would be moving to 107.3, however the frequency has gone silent. The station is now promoting itself as “The Works On The Web“.

MBM Radio Laredo acquired its cluster of Sports “1490 The Zone” KLNT, Regional Mexican “La Ley 100.5” KBDR, Rhythmic CHR “Hot 106.1” KNEX, and its LMA of 94.9 from Border Media in January for $2.7 Million and began operating under an immediate LMA. Border Media had been programming 107.3 but that does not appear to have moved to the new owners causing the displacement of The Works.
