Clear Channel Country “Kix 96.1” KIXZ-FM Spokane flipped to CHR as “Hits 96.1” on Saturday, March 24.
Elvis Duran’s syndicated morning show moves from Mapleton’s “Now 105.7” KZBD. The station has also added Ryan Seacrest for middays.
The move places KIXC in direct competition with the aforementioned KZBD as well as Queen B Radio’s tandem of Rhythmic “Hot 96.9” KEZE and Adult CHR 92.9 KZZU.
Concurrently, sister Progressive Talk 1280 KPTQ shifts to Classic Country.
